  1. They took your money, there is no mouthwash that can heal periodontitis. You really should see a periodontist and get it under control. Those mouthwashes might help a bit to keep it from coming back once it has been treated.

  2. Please be advised and do not pay any attention to that rubbish. There is absolutely no product that can stop your hair from receding. It is in the genes. No one has ever been successful in this endevour . It is really just a con and people or companies who claim they have a product to stop hair from receding should be punished by law for false The only thing you can do is
a- leave it alone and save your money or
b- get hair plugs put in which is expensive but real hair is used and it works.

  3. Well, you know how the proponents of alt med stuff are. If they prove that their stuff works, they to ad hominem attacks. I admire Dr. Barrett very much!

  4. Well if you think it works and peddling the stuff see your research and published papers on these treatments – oh, peer reviewed and reputable journals please

  5. No getting that shampoo is just a waist of money just shave all you lr hair go for a skin head maybe get a tatoo to complete your new look

  6. because the combination of a depressant and stimulant was a bad idea to begin with…you can get REALLY sick if you have too much and are more likely to die than with just straight up alcohol. it does bad things to your if alcohol can induce anger, caffeine can help you keep the energy to use that anger and do dumb things and have the energy to do those dumb things. all about the ganja :D

  7. He thought she needed more medical care and your mother removed her anyway. The facts are that most nursing homes will not take patients who doctors say need to be in the hospital longer. Your mother went against his advice and found out what he said was true. It is not blackmail when it is the facts of the case. Also not negligence when he wanted to treat her and your mother refused to allow it. The only one in the wrong here was your mother who thought she knew more than the doctor.

  8. It would make the cost of vitamins extreme. The companies would need to pay millions to to prove safety and efficacy. The government already studied the RDA (recommended Daily Allowance) which is the bare minimum you require before you show signs of a deficiency. No one has ever looked at what dose you need for optimum performance. likely that everyone would need a different level and/or combination for that.

  9. I am so sorry you are going through this.

He Needs help, he needs to chose you over the pills. You have to be firm, have you found where he hide it? I might taking a pill or two from his stash and flush them? He is doped up me might not know?

I have been on Norco (10mg of hydrocodone to 325 acetaminophen [so I kill my liver], Vicodin normally 5mg Hydro to 500 mg of acetaminophen) for pain (my medical history is Long and complicated) since I was 15 (I am 28 now). I have never abused it, I get 30 pills for 30 days, but I go weeks without taking it.

So, my biggest fear is that he will get violent with you, we all handle differently, I know that if I have to take it, when I come down I can get really angry very quickly, but also when I have taken it I am easy to anger too. It’s the reason I hate taking it, you have to be careful about picking a time to talk to him about it.

Now about the ibuprofen, it’s a waste to take more then 800 mg of it in a 6 to 12 hr period (bodies are different), our body doesn’t know what to do with it and flush’s it, he is just waiting money. This is what my docs have told me.

I had an Ex that got hooked on my stuff, but it woke him up when he had to rush me to the ER because he had used all of my Norco. Now i tell anyone I take it.

I am not sure if this helps to know, but i cant imagine he likes to be this constipated?

    Best
    Nolwe

  10. If the government really cared, they would have imposed restrictions on who (and how much you) can contribute to a Health Savings Account to get a tax credit. You have to buy your employers plan. so much for the government.

  11. Bad thing. I ever trust that company. I live in Canada, and as far as I know, we have anything like that available here. But I have no problems with applying my preventative once per month. why they have calendar stickers in the box, so you forget to give it. I can see why a 6-month preventative in one application would be dangerous.

  12. your an idiot.
    I hate opinionated people.
I have health issues that allow me to breastfeed so how about you keep your shi* to yourself =D

  13. That's why there is silicone and MSG in formula. Which is just one of the hundreds or reason to breastfeed.

"Twenty-six brands of formula have been tested for silicon, however, and the levels were significantly higher: from 746 to 13,811 ng/ml. We still do not know the effect of large amounts of silicon on an infant.[4]"

"MSG (monosodium glutamate, or processed free glutamic acid and processed free acid) is a known neurotoxin found in a number of infant formulas. Because the blood brain barrier is not fully developed in infants, these neurotoxins are more accessible to the infant brain than the adult brain. The highest levels of these neurotoxins were found in hypoallergenic formulas."

  14. Alcohol by itself is a depressent.
The chemicals / ingredients in Four Loko, Sparks, similar drinks are high in sugar,
which either give you a crash, or make one an even louder / more annoying drunk.

underage and / or "young drinkers" were / are the primary customers
of such drinks. Something had to be done to help fight that problem.

  15. I have been on this medication for 25 days now. I smoked yet. It as easy as they make it out to be; in fact I still want to smoke at times.

The side effects are strong, but I guess after smoking for 20 years they should be. The sleeping dreams and not sleeping are the worst. I eat all of the time.

After the two weeks – I to want to move around like I use to. Before, that I was out of it and wondered if this was it.

The drug has a daily check in service. However, it allow for questions and the answers are specific to your case. They keep sending you to the doctor for advice.. Who can afford that?

A word of caution.. When I cut my dose in half I feel better and want to smoke. However, the makers of Chantix want you to keep taking the pills and paying out the money.

I am not sure that if I quite taking the pills I would feel better anyway.

    Good luck

  16. Unfortunately, many people think that dietary supplements aren’t regulated, which simply isn’t the case. Dietary supplements are regulated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), although not like drugs, but instead like foods.

In 1994, Congress passed the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act (DSHEA), which established new standards for dietary supplement products. Specifically, the FDA has the power to:

o Stop any company from selling a dietary supplement that is "adulterated" or misbranded
o Stop the sale of a dietary supplement that makes false or unsubstantiated claims
o Take action against any dietary supplement that poses "a significant or unreasonable risk of illness or injury"
o Stop any company making a claim that a product cures or treats a disease
o Require dietary supplements to meet strict manufacturing standard, including potency, cleanliness and stability

The FDA assures that products are safe and accurately labeled, and dietary supplement manufacturers must notify the FDA of intended label claims and ensure that they can be substantiated.

The FDA has regulations on good manufacturing practices (GMPs) for dietary supplements. Under the rule, manufacturers are required to evaluate the identity, purity, quality, strength, and composition of their dietary ingredients and dietary supplements.

In December 2006, Congress passed The Dietary Supplement and Non-Prescription Drug Consumer Protection Act (the “AER Bill”.) This legislation requires the of “serious” adverse events for dietary supplements. Many people believe that over time this requirement will provide additional proof of the safety of dietary supplements.

So if you’re wondering if dietary supplements are safe, the answer is yes, if used responsibly. However, as a consumer, you should be aware of what supplements and amounts you’re taking and how this may affect your health or interact with prescription or over-the-counter drugs. Make sure to read all labels, and if you have any questions or concerns, ask your professional healthcare provider.

  17. THE FDA REALLY WANT US TO USE OVER THE COUNTER MEDS. MUCH RATHER WE WENT TO THE DR AND GET A PRESCRIPTION. WHY WE NEED TO RALLY TOGETHER AND NOT LET THE GOVERNMENT KEEP US FROM BUYING OVER THE COUNTER DRUGS.

  18. "….got together for a secret meeting"

Oh really? Not much of a secret then, was it?

If you insist of repeating all this hogwash at least try and think it through first.

The "evidence" of a connection between childhood vaccines and autism is proved to be FAKE, he made up his statistics and made a fraudulent – is that clear enough for you?

  19. you are right to be concerned

    he is a drug abuser
he may be doing something illegal b getting drugs after he runs out

    he needs treatment soon

    talk to his doctor, family

do not marry him until he get treatment

  20. it's not a herb. herbs are good. herbs are safe.

    psych drugs are very good.
    weed is very harmful.
it corrupts the balance in your brain.
SSRIs correct the imbalance of chemicals.

just because it inhibits aggression in HAMSTERS
does not mean it does that to HUMANS.
been 4 years, psych drugs have improved.

weed is very dangerous to your sex organs and lungs also.
    yes…all medication has side effects.
SSRIs arent the only thing approved for youth.
why the hell would you want them to smoke?
if someone has a mental disorder all weed does is
make their lives worse. they will become more suicidal
than before. obviously you have only done some research
because many people also take MAOIs,antipsychotics, benzodiazepines, mood stabilizers and tricyclics are also prescribed to youth.

the FDA has stated that they do not agree that cannabis is safe to use. it causes schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, etc. like i said…because it upsets the chemical balance in the brain.

you are only stating that one type of antidepressants
causes suicide. yes…psych drugs can influence suicide, but more than half of people taking psych drugs become better, not worse.

cannabis is dangerous. over the years psychiatric drugs have become a lot safer. the only reason why some become suicidal on it is if they are not on the right dose or if they are taking too high of a dose. that is why it is all about trial and error.

so my friend, you are wrong.
i know a lot of people who are my age[teenager] who are on antidepressants….all of them have become a lot better.
prozac is the only lethal one to youth…the rest are pretty damn safe.

if the country replaces psych drugs with "medical marijuana" have a lot more suicide on our hands. 1 cigarettes…THAT is pretty bad ya think? just because it is a plant mean it is safe.

  21. you could go to jeweler around your or her house and get a appraisal. this should cost less than 50 bucks and you would know for sure. besides i think you need a appraisal fro insurance purposes.

  22. Supplement companies are not FDA approved. Plain and simple and ya know what . a good thing! look at the foods they do look at that are marked "healthy choice" when all that means is a step up from Twinkies. just a

One of the reasons I chose to take and ultimately do the business with Advocare was because there IS science behind it. Full Medical Board, full Advisory AND they hire an outside source to ensure the products are substance free. Those were huge things to me. Now me. Other people are perfectly content taking a vitamin picked up at the local grocer and think doing something good for themselves. Better than a kick in the leg, but not much.

As far as looking at say Omega 3 as a whole. You can google it and find all kinds of great information from more of a homeopathic approach. Just depends on what you want to know.

  23. There have been millions spent on ozone treatment research in the US, and papers are available at the US-NIH.

Ozone causes good cholesterol to turn into bad cholesterol, bad cholesterol to turn into plaque in the and ozone is suspected in the misfolding of proteins that cause some forms of Red blood cells that are exposed to ozone are inactivated in much the same way that carbon monoxide inactivates them, and they are sent to the recycling bin. Ozone inhaled causes damage to the lungs, and increases the risk of stroke. Finally, ozone treatments suppress the immune system, hardly something that makes sense when treating one of the autoimmune diseases like HIV.

Ozone (and other ionizing species) is produced by our white blood cells when fighting infection. It is a very powerful sword that Nature uses sparingly. Ozone is successfully used with very high "instantaneous" cure rates for bulging disks, I suspect will be very good for repairing joint (someday), and is a good thing for oral care.

Any other "cure" involving removal of blood and ozonizing the plasma, or snaking an ozone output hose into various orifices, falls into the categories of "hormesis", where near fatal exposure to radiation / toxins will turn the immune system *ON* full speed; or "placebo effect", where bogus methods tell the powerful mind to heal the body itself.

Any snake-oil doctor can cure some patients with just charm. It is only a matter of convincing the patient to cure him / herself. And failures can be blamed on "not following the protocols".

And I like ozone, and I apply it to water to keep big critters alive and healthy. But these methods such as you promote give the industry a bad name. Thank you for whining about it.

  24. The shots are marketed for women because types of hpv causes cervical cancer…I have never had the shot though and a female . U could also try using condoms . a kind called ultra thin

  25. Recent studies have indicated that some nutritional supplements might have a role in restraining or curing liver diseases. Here is a list of three of these supplements that shown many health benefits to liver diseases after many researches:

    Omega-3 Fatty Acids

Omega-3 fatty acids are common in some plant oils like canola and linseed oil, also in some fish, like salmon. Many health specialists and consumers know that omega-3 fatty acids have many health benefits:

    * Reduce change of health issues
    * Improve the activity of insulin
    * Decrease inflammation, plan and inflexibility
    * Assists many people who suffer from Central Nervous System dysfunctions

Many researches in animals indicate that an effective diet, that contains high levels of omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA), can actually reduce the amount of liver fat. This is true especially in a non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD).

The research has shown that omega-3 actually reduced the liver enzyme levels (ALT, AST, and others), let to better blood fat ratio, and improved the liver texture.

    Southern Ginseng

Also known as Gynostemma Pentaphyllum or Jiaogulan, Southern Ginseng is a herb used thoroughly in the Chinese medicine, as a treatment for various illnesses. Some of southern ginseng’s ability are:

    * Reduces cholesterol and blood coagulation
    * Increases energy in the individual
    * Aid in healthy cell development and protects the liver as a result of antioxidant activity

In 2006, a new research at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Tainwan, shown the benefits of southern ginseng supplementation for NAFLD patients (non-alcoholic fatty liver disease). The research concluded that if a patient consumed a daily dose of 80 mL of this nutrition, it can reduce liver enzyme levels in the bloodstream, and increase insulin resistance.

    Milk Thistle

Silymarin – this is the active ingredient in the milk thistle herb. It has a history of improving liver health. Many studies have shown that milk thistle might:

    * Increase the speed of liver cell regeneration
    * Restrain liver fibrosis
    * Protect the liver from injury
    * Decrease cholesterol absorption

A study in Czech Republic back in 2006, have shown that milk thistle extract decreased cholesterol absorption in rats with high cholesterol diet, and also reduced the LDL (bad cholesterol) and triglycerides levels. The conclusion was that the restraint of cholesterol absorption can assist the lipid content in the liver.

  26. It means it is not approved by the FDA, I trust the ingredients at ALL! Who knows what it could contain.

  27. Yes, it worked. Yes, there are side effects, nausea and vivid dreams being the most common ones. I did have a couple more, but I quit, and been 7 weeks that I am smokefree and 5 weeks since I stopped taking Chantix.

I blogged about my whole experience here:

There are also links to many other people who blogged about their experience quitting smoking using Chantix:

    I hope this helps!

  28. Think about it. FDA approval studies cost large amounts of money and take large amounts of time. There has never been a patent on these supplements, so there is no reason for anyone to spend the money to do so if the end result is going to prove what is already common wisdom: that these things are good for you in a variety of ways. Scientific studies have shown that these supplements have a huge effect on health, and for many of them we even know the exact chemical pathway that is used by the chemical in our bodies, so there is no reason for the government to approve them. On a similar note, Aspirin has never been approved by the FDA as a drug because it has been around since before the FDA existed and everyone knows that it works with few side effects (if not used on children). Generally, there is no reason for anyone to take the time and to do this.
